RIVERSIDE METHODIST CHURCH MISSION STATEMENT

This church will work together to use the facilities that God has given us to ensure that the Methodist Church in Blairgowrie is an effective witness for Jesus Christ in this community. We will co-operate with other Christians to demonstrate his grace and love to all people.

Our church is part of the Angus, Dundee and Perthshire Methodist Circuit, which in turn is part of the Methodist Church in Scotland.

The Methodist Church is a mainstream Christian Church with over 70 million members world-wide. As Methodists we believe that God’s love is for everyone. We worship God as revealed in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and we try to witness to the goodness of God in our daily lives. We believe that everyone is important to God, and we seek to learn and grow together, to support each other and to serve our local community.
